Our Mission:
To serve responsible customers with agency quality
design at reasonable prices.
Barbara Gray Krause Designs LLC is owned and operated by Barbara
Gray Krause, a resident of Las Vegas since 1975. After majoring in Graphic
Design at the
Academy of Art in San Francisco she worked with some of the nation's top graphic designers
and illustrators. Her first accounts in San Franciso were KCBS
Newsradio, KEMO-TV Channel 20 and The San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She
was one of the first female designers to win awards for
graphic design in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Today she still brings to each design piece, the design quality that is
needed for a professional corporate look.
Barbara moved to Las Vegas while her father,
Bob Gray, was working on major building projects as a Superintendant and Methodologist for Del Webb Construction. Bob, built
the original Aladin Hotel and Casino in just 16 months. Barbara's current
client was former CEO and coincidently imploded the Aladin in 60
seconds! Bob's last project was for Taylor Construction as a
consultant for the existing MGM. He was 82 and continued consulting until
his passing at 86 in 1999.
Her marketing distinctions are two. First is her
extreme creativity she brings to each design project. This ability accelerates creating concepts and general problem solving on projects. This saves time and
money. Second is her skill in writing advertising copy
that sells. Additionally, she has consulted Highway Radio, Lark Williams of Lark's List, Austrailan
Trade Commission and U.S. Post Office (for direct mail) and has delivered
seminars for Citibank,Washing Mutual and the Nevada Center for Entreprenurs and
Technology. Barbara delivers seminars for Nevada Microenterprise Initiative on marketing
and writing advertising copy that sells on a continuing
basis.
During her years of work in Las
Vegas she has worked
with such clients as Advo Systems
(simular to Val Pac), Thomas & Mac, Kerr
McGee Chemical,
Adam Kutner, Attorneys Gerrard, Cox and Larson, Custom Telecomunications, Inc., Bluko, Z
Touch, Bi Bi Hilton, Paris Hilton's aunt , two Quality Inn Hotel Francises,
and was one of the original designers to help launch Nevada Woman magazine. Barbara
has been featured in the Nevada Business Press several times. Once for her work as a logo design expert and the other for her successful series of seminars targeting how to help businesses grow. For
her seminar series and other work she was chosen as Bank of America's
most successful business person for the month of February in '99 on their national website. Along with her
seminars she has excellerated in putting together Networking Lunches in 2005 -6
and the Small Business Breakfast Club with famed Fran Tarkenton. "Have Breakfast With Fran
at Barbara's series in 2005." Barbara also has two publications, "How to Write
Advertising Copy That Sells" and "How to Write Brochures and Flyers
That Sell." In addition, Barbara was chosen by the National Business Register's Who's
Who in 2001, 2003, 2005.2006 and 2007. She has sat on three boards, United States Postal
Customer Council and Opera Las Vegas and President of Desert Arts of
Nevada. Recently, she has been interviewed by The SUN,
In
Business Las Vegas on marketing
and sat on the committee for 2008 for EWEEK Expo for Nevada
Center for Entrepreneurs and Technology with special guests Oscar Goodman and
Somer Hollingsworth
of NDA.
Her avocation is fine art
and she exhibited the first performing sculplture art in the Grant Hall Gallery
at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and was joined by the
internationally renowed artist Joe Palermo. In less than one year, Barbara had her fine
